1898, APRIL 22 - Former Tombstone businesswoman and restaurateur , Nellie Cashman, arrived in Dawson, a settlement in the Yukon Territory of Canada, ready to serve those who sought riches in the Alaskan goldfields. Several other former Tombstoners also went to Alaska during this period including Wyatt Earp, diarist George Parsons, and former Tombstone mayor, John Clum.

Salute To The Buffalo Soldiers - June 23, 2017- A celebration to salute the Buffalo Soldiers sponsored by the Wild West Detachment Marine Corps League. This year's celebration includes street entertainment and a parade. Street Entertainment starts at 10:00 a.m. each day and concludes at approximately 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, June 24th, at 11:00 a.m., a Parade will take place on Historic Allen Street starting at Sixth and Allen Streets and concluding at Second and Allen Streets. Any interested persons, groups or businesses who wish to participate in the parade, or for more detailed information, contact Bronco Bill at (520) 266-5266 or broncobill@powerc.net.

Tombstone Fourth of July - July 4, 2017 - Tombstone Arizona is a small town and as such has small town activities for our nations birthday.
There will be a softball tournament and food booth at Medigovich Field. Fireworks display at dusk by the Tombstone Volunteer Fire Department (weather permitting).
There are other activities in the planning stages. We will bring you more information when it becomes available.
