August 1, 1882 - With hot mineral waters, thought to cure a number of ailments as its claim to fame, the city of Glenwood Springs is established in Colorado. This will be the last town visited by Doc Holliday where, on November 8, 1887 he would succumb to tuberculosis.

Great American Adventures presents Wyatt Earp's Vendetta Ride ~ October 10 - 15, 2010 - True West Magazine presents the second Vendetta Ride. This five-day ride takes you to the Chiricahua, Dragoon and Whetstone Mountains, through the high country around Tombstone, visiting spots were Wyatt and his posse killed Florentio Cruz, "Curly Bill" Brocius' controversial death site , Johnny Ringo's gravesite and more.
