YESTERWEST
by Gary Ledoux

1882, April - In the wake of Morgan Earp's assassination in March, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and their posse arrive in Silver City, New Mexico, on what would become known as their "Vendetta Ride" against the cow-boys. A newspaper reports that they are "armed to the teeth." Meanwhile, during this same month, Bob Ford killed outlaw Jesse James just for the publicity. Eventually, Ford would be reviled while Jesse James continues to enjoy notoriety.
